Первое послание апостола Иоанна

Глава 1

1 Мы пишем вам о Слове Жизни, Которое было от самого начала. Мы сами слышали Его, видели своими собственными глазами, да, мы видели Его и прикасались к Нему руками своими.

2 Явной Жизнь эта стала, мы увидели ее и вот свидетельствуем о ней, возвещаем вам Жизнь вечную, Которая вместе с Отцом была в начале всего и наконец открылась нам.

3 О том, что мы видели и слышали, возвещаем вам, чтобы и вы могли разделить общение с нами, а вместе с нами — и с Богом Отцом общение и Сыном Его, Иисусом Христом.

4 Пишем это, чтобы преисполнились мы все радости.

5 И вот весть, которую услышали мы от Сына и теперь возвещаем вам: Бог — это свет, и нет в Нем никакой тьмы.

6 Если мы говорим, что в общении с Ним, а сами во тьме живем, то лжем и об истине забыли.

7 Если же во свете живем, подобно Ему, Который во свете, то остаемся в общении друг с другом, и кровь Иисуса, Сына Его, очищает нас от греха, каким бы он ни был.

8 Когда говорим, что мы без греха, обманываем самих себя, и нет в нас истины.

9 Если же мы свои грехи признаём, то Бог, верный и праведный, прощает нам их и очищает нас от всякого нечестия.

10 Говоря, что никогда не грешили, мы Его Самого лжецом представляем, и нет в нас слова Его.

1 John

Chapter 1

1 HE who was from the beginning, the one whom we have heard and seen with our eyes, looked upon and handled with our hands, we declare to you that he is the word of life.

2 For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness to it, and preach to you eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us;

3 It is that which we have seen and heard that we declare to you, so that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

4 And these things we write to you, that our joy in you may be complete.

5 This then is the good news which we have heard from him, and declare to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

6 If we say that we have fellowship with him and yet live in darkness, we lie, and do not follow the truth:

7 But if we live in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar and his word is not in us.

1 Мы пишем вам о Слове Жизни, Которое было от самого начала. Мы сами слышали Его, видели своими собственными глазами, да, мы видели Его и прикасались к Нему руками своими.

1 HE who was from the beginning, the one whom we have heard and seen with our eyes, looked upon and handled with our hands, we declare to you that he is the word of life.

2 Явной Жизнь эта стала, мы увидели ее и вот свидетельствуем о ней, возвещаем вам Жизнь вечную, Которая вместе с Отцом была в начале всего и наконец открылась нам.

2 For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness to it, and preach to you eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us;

3 О том, что мы видели и слышали, возвещаем вам, чтобы и вы могли разделить общение с нами, а вместе с нами — и с Богом Отцом общение и Сыном Его, Иисусом Христом.

3 It is that which we have seen and heard that we declare to you, so that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

4 Пишем это, чтобы преисполнились мы все радости.

4 And these things we write to you, that our joy in you may be complete.

5 И вот весть, которую услышали мы от Сына и теперь возвещаем вам: Бог — это свет, и нет в Нем никакой тьмы.

5 This then is the good news which we have heard from him, and declare to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

6 Если мы говорим, что в общении с Ним, а сами во тьме живем, то лжем и об истине забыли.

6 If we say that we have fellowship with him and yet live in darkness, we lie, and do not follow the truth:

7 Если же во свете живем, подобно Ему, Который во свете, то остаемся в общении друг с другом, и кровь Иисуса, Сына Его, очищает нас от греха, каким бы он ни был.

7 But if we live in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

8 Когда говорим, что мы без греха, обманываем самих себя, и нет в нас истины.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 Если же мы свои грехи признаём, то Бог, верный и праведный, прощает нам их и очищает нас от всякого нечестия.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 Говоря, что никогда не грешили, мы Его Самого лжецом представляем, и нет в нас слова Его.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar and his word is not in us.
